Winterization & Fuel FAQs
When should I winterize my boat in New Jersey?
Before the first hard freeze — in South Jersey that usually means getting it done in the fall, once your boating season wraps up. Water left in an engine block can crack it when it freezes, which is one of the most expensive repairs a boat owner can face.
What does your winterization service include?
Engine winterization with antifreeze, fuel system stabilization, and battery disconnect and storage. Shrink wrap is available, and we offer secure seasonal storage so your boat stays protected until spring.
Do you sell ethanol-free fuel?
Yes — our on-site gas dock carries ethanol-free fuel, which many boaters prefer because ethanol can attract moisture and damage marine fuel systems, especially during storage.
What happens in spring when I'm ready to get back on the water?
We recommission your boat: engine performance check, steering and electrical checks, fluids, and launch. See our Spring Service Menu for transparent pricing, and book early — spring spots fill up quickly.
Is the snack shack open year-round?
The snack shack is open during boating season, with ice, snacks, candy, and cold drinks right at the dock. The marina office is available year-round at 609-625-9428.
